ECLIPX AND THE PRIVACY OF OUR VISITORS AND MEMBERS

At I.T. Works International (ITWI), we respect your privacy whether you're a first-time Visitor or a dedicated Member. We do collect information from you, but our policy is to ensure that all personal information remains private to the extent that Members and Visitors wish it to remain private. To earn your trust and confidence in the Internet and in eclipx, we are disclosing our privacy practices and the uses of the information we gather.

To protect your privacy, eclipx and ITWI: 

• Provides a notice and a link to this Privacy Notice on all pages where we collect personal identifying information. And includes a copy of this notice with our eclipx Client software.

• Will use personal identifying information about you in a manner consistent with this Privacy Notice.

• Will not knowingly collect personal identifying information from minors or knowingly use such information without express parental consent. 

As you may know, eclipx serves as an Internet dispatch and linking service, allowing people to connect with one and other for the purpose of helping solve computer related problems.

A.) eclipx COLLECTION AND USE OF GENERAL INFORMATION FROM MEMBERS AND VISITORS

eclipx collects minimal information from all Users of our application and Visitors to our web site, information required purely to operate properly the eclipx service, including IP address, applications used, Email address and certain accounting information. 

Using your IP address, 
we can connect you and another with a randomly generated port number together. This is accomplished through software only and this information is not plainly visible to each other. Although a malicious user can use any number of utilities to see the connected IP address they cannot force a connection with the eclipx Client software. Your privacy is maintained all times.

Using your applications used,
we can connect you to another person who has expressed a willingness to help you with one of these applications that you have requested help with. We further keep the question and solution as a means of identifying and improving support solutions without any links back to the issuer of the request.

Using your Email address,
we notify you of any account changes, updates, and automatically generated reports on your request/solution transactions.

Using your Accounting Information,
we Internally maintain your full name but only use your Online Handle in all transaction including email to maintain your privacy. Your account ID is your private identifier to your public Online Handle identifier and is used to link all accounting information internally at ITWI. Credit card numbers are not kept nor ever seen and financial transactions are handled by reputable banking institutions and not directly by ITWI.

B.) ITWI COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION FROM ITS MEMBERS AND VISITORS

Personal identifying information includes: 

• Home or other physical address

• Phone numbers

• Any other information that identifies a specific individual

• Any information which, when tied to the above listed specific information, can identify a specific individual. 

The only personal identifying information we currently collect is the first and last name, and e-mail address of eclipx Members. We collect this information at various locations throughout the site and during software registration.

We use this information for administrative and other purposes that we believe are necessary to maintain, improve and enhance our services. Such uses include data transmission, surveys of our Members conducted by third parties, sending e-mail messages to all of our Members. We may use third parties to provide these services. 

ITWI fully cooperates with law enforcement agencies in identifying those persons who use our services for illegal activities, and we reserve the right to release personal identifying information about Members when we believe our services are being used unlawfully even without a subpoena, warrant or court order.

We do not control the actions of our Members or Visitors. If you disclose personal information using eclipx to others, it may be collected and used by others. ITWI does not assume any responsibility for actions of those other parties. 

C.) MEMBERS? ABILITY TO CHANGE/REMOVE INFORMATION

If, at any time you would like to find out the information ITWI maintains about you, or change or delete any information within eclipx active database please visit www.itwi.com/eclipx/account. If you leave eclipx, we may delete your information from our active database. Residual information will remain within our archived database and records.

D.) OUTSIDE PARTY COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION

eclipx does not control the acts of its non-certified technicians or members. All Technicians, Members and Visitors should be aware that, when they disclose personal identifying information to others, the information may be collected and used by others to send that person unsolicited e-mail from other parties, outside eclipx. If you encounter any Member who is improperly collecting or using information about users, please contact: *privacy@itwi.com

E.) SECURITY OF INFORMATION COLLECTED BY ITWI / ECLIPX

Information collected by eclipx is stored on secure servers and access is limited to authorized personnel only.

* All emails must include ECLIPX or ITWI as the first word in the subject line of the email message to guarantee that it will be processed by our staff with the highest priority.
