Your eclipx client support software

Instead of hiring an expensive technician to come to your house, or spending hours searching for the problem underlying your system woes, take advantage of the expertise scattered across the Internet. Eclipx support will allow you to anonymously request help from either the certified Eclipx support site, where you'll pay as you go for guaranteed service (as low as $5 per incident), or from the unmonitored Eclipx free site, where you'll find good Samaritans who are keen to help you. Once you've found someone available, you chat with them while they give you instructions on how to solve your problem. The technician can circle and highlight parts of the screen to let you know what they're talking about.

The eclipx support software is your window and tool for accessing our unique service.  If you have a problem with or a question related to an application you can get fast support from eclipx once you have installed the eclipx support software.

Step 1.

Download and install the eclipx client.

Simply start eclipx by clicking on the eclipx support Icon Icon: A small image identifying an application or program in the Start Menu.

The position and other applications will differ from what you'll see on your computer.

Step 2.

eclipx opens and displays its main control bar on the right,  the step and chat bar across the top of your screen.  The step window is displaying steps that you should follow to request help.

You should have the application for which you are requesting help for open.

Select "Request Support" from the Action Menu.

You can click on the cloud icon or choose "Hide eclipx bars" on the Action menu to hide the bars and restore your desktop to full size while you wait.  eclipx will restore itself when you Ok a technician for support.  You can also restore the bars yourself by double clicking the yellow eclipx icon on the system tray.

You can end your request by clicking on the wire and outlet icon or choose "Queued with Dispatch" on the Action menu.

Step 4.

A short while later eclipx dispatch sends you a notification message checking to see if you're at your computer.  Click yes.

eclipx dispatch then sends you the technician's offer, the value in this case is for free tokens because this transaction is occurring on the eclipx Free site.
