I.T. Works International is a profit oriented enterprise and as such, charge fees for specific services.  We considered many scenarios and settled on a model that would allow our clients and members access to much needed support whether for free or for a fee.

Many issues were calculated in our decision to provide a full-time free service versus providing one or two free trials before asking a client to pay for further support.

It was decided that if the core concept of friends helping friends would survive on a non-monitored basis the cost of providing the dispatching services would be minimal in comparison to the benefits of creating a pool of potential technicians that could be trained and certified as consultants for the commercial eclipx dispatch service. 

You can switch back and forth between "Free eclipx" and "Certified eclipx" at any time for any reason.  Sometimes you'll use the certified service because you feel more comfortable with a monitored solution or because no-one was able to help you on the free site. Certified support typically cost as low as 5 dollars per incident, the price is quoted to you by the technician that is considering supporting you and you have the opportunity to accept or decline before starting.  To use Certified eclipx your account must have sufficient funds to cover the charge.  It's easy to add funds or to review your certified eclipx activities by visiting "My Account".

I.T. Works International does not require any personal information from its members and has declared that it will not sell any tabulated use of the eclipx service.  However we may from time to time display small advertisements in the bulletin area of the eclipx client software.  See our privacy notice for further privacy information.
